im sure i am not the only one who has ever done this. I fell asleep the other night while staring at the ceiling(what i call dialating). And woke up hours later when the alarm went off. My first reaction was OOO SH*t im in trouble but the dialator came out easily. So i was wondering what if i just slept with it Every night would that not help a little faster i closed up alot while in hospital so i can only use a small bullet and have to work my way up to #0 still.

On this forum somewhere, there is a person who had SRS in europe maybe, a long time ago... I believe they said they had a dilator of some kind inside almost all the time for a while, except taking it out once a day to clean it... ? Sounded uncomfortable, but (and I do recall your story; I was in hospital with dr suporn while it was happening, freaked me right out too) maybe for your situation, worthwhile to do longer sessions....

Sounds like a recipe for toxic shock syndrome.

Yeah, right, but if I find that person/post, I'll put it up here. Although a clean pyrex stent, cleaned daily followed most likely by a betadine douche, wouldn't seem to be that hazardous...

The surgeon in Melbourne, Simon Ceber,  has his patients use a mould of special foam rolled into the right shape and put inside a condom and tied off. This is worn internally for the first 4 weeks, if I recall correctly, in order for the neo-vagina to assume correct position and form. It is changed frequently. for hygenes sake
One of the Thai surgeons prescribes similar for the duration of the hospital stay according to their website.  It seems logical to me, in the same way that I had packing in my nose after a surgical procedure on it years ago.   From comments by local girls it seems to make dilating easier and stop formation of restrictive scar tissue.

I had surgery with Brassard in May.  We dilated first after the stent was removed four days after the surgery with #1 and 2 for one month four times a day for 5+15 minutes, then two months with #2 and 3 for 5+15 minutes, then 3 months with # 3 and 4 for 5+15 minutes, then 6 months #4 only for 20 minutes.

I was on # 3 and 4 after 2 months, and after another months #4 only.  I am now on every second day 30 minutes #4 after 5 1/2 months and have had no issues with depth or circumference. Depth is 6"

I do believe that it was Annette, who mention something about she had to leave a clean pyrex/glass stent in place.  Hers was done quite a while ago.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Ha! I love occasional proof that I'm not completely crazy! Mostly, but not completely...
