For repeated posts which violate the TOS Lilacwoman has been banned for 30 days. If you can't take a hint when your posts require moderator approval and you keep submitting posts that violate the TOS I will eventually get tired of it.

Lilacwoman when you get back I suggest you change your act.

I really don't know how to say this without it sounding "mean" but if I had a dollar for every time she's been banned, moderated, muted then I could fund many peoples' SRS surgeries here.

You are a very forgiving Site Owner. Moreso than I would have been (I probably would have banned ....anyone..with that track record a long time ago).

Yeah, I don't know exactly how many times someone should be allowed to spout blatantly hateful, homophobic propaganda on a transgender forum, but I feel like she's probably crossed that line by now.

Still remembering the first one she launched at me. That really hurt.

Isn't she the one who said I was just a lesbian? Like being a lesbian is transguy lite or something. Eh. I'm just kvetching. She's got issues. I hope she gets herself together. Meanness is not cool.

So many of us are so damaged; sometimes, it's hard to know exactly where to draw the line.

This user has seemed to intentionally break the rules of this site so many times already and has faced repercussions for them, yet every time it is clear that she has failed to learn from any punishment she was given thus far. I know I'm not a mod, but I'm a little confused to why someone who goes out of their way to upset members of this site has not been banned permanently.

She's not exactly a "spring chicken" (no offense) so I don't think it's like she was being naive and perhaps hadn't learned proper social "cues". Seemed a bit intentional.

oh well!

Reading these comments I would just like to address how I and I believe most of the Mods and Admin face their tasks.

THESE ARE MY PERSONAL OPINIONS ONLY

This is a support site and to that end we try to support all members. Often the members in the greatest pain and distress are those who lash out at everyone and everything. The reasons they do so are very complex and often they cannot express why they respond and act as they do.

We try to support and guide them; hopefully into behaving in a manner that allows them to communicate and give and receive help.

This is often the sign of success.  Without being trite, once people can offer help to others, then they are capable of receiving it. This is particularly true for people who have suffered and do have ongoing suffering. Many of us - no lets be real- all of us have problems. Some of us cope better than others because we have learned mechanisms to cope.

Being on hormones and having surgery isn't learning to cope. Too often I see people who have gone 'all the way' and who do not cope. They still have the underlying problems to deal with, whatever those problems may be.

My philosophy as a Mod has been to give as many chances as I possibly can. To use carrot and stick. To use love and tough love.  To use personal messages to engage people in communication. To offer to be there when the nights are too dark.

Some of you know this. It has never ever been a lightly given offer, it never will be, but I will always honour it.

The point where I make a personal decision to give up on someone is not easily decided. It cannot be: since I will very rarely review that decision.

I firmly believe that the Mods and Admin that support YOU, the members of this incredible place, have similar feelings.

It is easy to say enough is enough.

It is harder to say the decision is yours to a particular person.

But ultimately the decision is that of the member.

Cindy I agree with you for the most part.

Also, one needs to consider how this is a support site and all the people she has really offended...being that this is a support site, some of the things she has stated to people could push them off the edge.

Something to keep in mind.

We can discuss the issue without resorting to name calling.
