The poor turnout at the rememberance vigil for Jill Meagher, raped and murdered in Melbourne during the week.  If a couple of trans and IS women can turn up to a memorial, surely her cis-gendered sisters can manage it.

I've been talking to a potential date who says that my being trans, or at least having had top surgery, might be a deal-breaker. I'm not sure what to think. He's a straight guy, so I kind of get it. I'm not a woman, and I don't have a standard female-assigned body. But ugh, I've never been rejected for being trans before, and I don't want to start now.

Kind of obvious, but it's never really hit me like this before. After spending an amazing day practising with other Buddhist dykes over the weekend, and feeling like I "fit in" for the first time in my life, I'm grieving for the absence of this from my life, all that time I was trying so hard to be a man. I'm also very happy to be arriving in myself - but right now, much sorrow too. A life in disguise - no wonder.

I'm really really sick ;___; and I have college tomorrow.

A game playing IRS agent who can't read an invoice correctly. Any more harassment and prejudice, and I might report him to his supervisor, but I doubt if that will help.

I've been up all night compiling a list of al the stuff my last landlord stole from me, so far it's over £1000 worth of stuff.
I've spent the last 15 yrs collecting sc-fi stuff & videogame figures!!

Sci-fi figures             = £380
Videogame figures    = £500
Babylon 5 collection  = £200

This is just the stuff I can find prices for on the internet.
I phoned the police when it first happened but as this is the UK they said I have to take him to court even though the police say this is theft, they then advised me that any attempt to retrieve my stuff without a court order could result in me being arrested.

Little known fact about the UK here: The main job of the police is to protect the criminals from decent people, if someone breaks into your house you are not allowed to defend yourself or your property, the police now require you to make the burgular a cuppa, fetch him some slippers & cook him a meal, once he's had a snooze after the meal you are required to help him load your belongings into his van, don't forget that you must also give him petrol money so he's not out of pocket

End of sarcastic rant

Of course if your burglar's female, all bets are off :).

Being introduced to "Tubgirl."
I was thinking it was an accident, which is why I just reported it and didn't say anything in the topic.

I think I'd violate the TOS if I sent you the link, Tom, lol. :P Google her. It's nasty though, be warned, and NSFW.

I know that feeling, i've not slept for 2 days now, if your insomnia is persistant then you really should see a doctor, lack of sleep drags you down quicker than almost anything else.

Best wishes

I had the common sense to look up a text description of it before going on the website. No way, it's not happening. I've only just started eating chocolate mousse's again after the women with the cup.
I'm not spending another 7 years mousse free

So unhappy, yes i was watching A place in the sun home and away.

This woman really naffed me off she was from London and all she kept saying was 'some of these houses are worth the same as some places in London, I don't think that  Yorkshire can really justify that'

WELL EXCUSE ME for living in an apparently second class region of the country.
She should be thankful she chose Portugal because I'm pretty certain after that was broadcast no one in Yorkshire would bl**dy want her anyways.

I saw a beautiful dress in a shop in the QVB today at lunch. How I wish I could go in try it on and buy it then and there.
Made me feel sad that I could not. :(
So long and thanks for all the fish

Why not Hon? You just walk in and say I want to try that in a size whatever. They want to sell it not keep it in the window.

Far too early for me at this point. However my face is looking so much better now most of my hair is gone.
If only I had a shopping buddy it would be so much easier.

The dress was so nice....
