Kat von D Lock-It. Available at Sephora (www.sephora.com). I've been on a foundation kick lately and have tried several including Urban Decay Naked (really good for medium coverage and the dewy look) and Dior Forever (it was meh)... but Lock-It was my fav. It has super coverage and lasts all-day (right up there with Revlon ColorStay). Decent range of colors and well chosen. No weird smell, and the pump bottle is great. I need something that won't sweat off (in heat + humidity), and this fits the bill. It also survived my 2 hour gym workout, which is my foundation survivor-test. It passed with flying colors. I also like it much better than Estee Lauder Double Wear, as it looks more natural and nowhere near as cakey.

"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

Mac Studio Fix Fluid never let's me down.
I understand it breaks some people out though, never happened to me and I've been using it for over a year.

I never knew Kat had a foundation out. I knew she had a very good concealer though.

Studio Fix is also one of my favs. I've never had any issues with it, but I have read that some are sensitive to some of the ingredients.

MUFE HD is a great foundation, my only issues with it are 1) the color... I really don't have an exact match. #118 is closest to my skin tone, but it's a little light... and the darker shades oxidize after awhile and become a little too orange for me. 2) I like a little more coverage sometimes. MUFE Matte Velvet is supposed to have better coverage, but I haven't tried it yet. Their HD powder is great too.

For full coverage that is light breathable and flawless I I use this regimen daily

Nars tinted moisturizer
Makeup4ever HD
Cover FX Powder foundation

I have never used a powder better than cover fx! It is full coverage and you can build on it however much you like and it remains light. Sephora is my heaven. I also reccomend the Sephora brand lip stain as it is only 12 dollars, and lasts all day. I get very annoyed by lipstick feeling thick on my lips and you cant feel this at all. It is matte however, so unless you want a gloss...I love matte lips.

Also I absolutely reccomend Nars blsh bronzer combo laguna/orgasm it has changed my life!

And Benefit 'The'yre Real' mascara...amazing

MAC Studio Fix Fluid is my go to daily foundation. I do like the NARS Primer though with SPF 30. I also like NARS Orgasm blush. I'm not a big bronzer fan. I pretty tan as is (I live on Miami Beach, FL), but do like a good highlighter like MAC MSF or NARS. If you haven't tried NARS Roman Holiday lipstick + Turkish Delight lip gloss combo, do it. It looks amazing.

Hi JennX;
I might try this, although I have been a great fan of Estee Lauder for a long time and their new range of foundation s excellent and good for my skin. The fact that it is long lasting and even survives my fitness workout and gives me an SPF10 cover as well is great The key though is to use a a sponge slightly moist when applying it. You will find it is a lot less cakey

I've tried the moist sponge approach, I used a Beauty Blender (the pink one), but I find it wastes a lot of product and gives me too little coverage in some areas. It winds up smearing product instead of buffing it out IMHO. For application of foundation I prefer a brush. 2 good ones I've tried recently are:

1. Urban Decay Optical Blurring Brush: >>LINK<<
2. Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush: >>LINK<<

Both have densely packed bristles and I like the finish much better than a sponge or the standard flat paddle foundation brushes most companies make.

Hi Girls;
Yesterday I went to a new Beauty Therapist to get a consultation prior to starting IPL on my upper lip again. At the same time I had a manicure done and the beauty salon were having a promotion of a new range of cosmetics they have taken on  which are all natural Vegan products.

I normally only use liquid or cream foundation, but often wondered what a mineral based powder would look like. So my beauty therapist  did a skin tone match for me (I am light to medium English skin tones) and selected the following foundation. She did one side in my normal cream fiundation and the other side of my face with just the mineral powder findation.

The brand is called Inika and the foundation  she showed me was:

I was amazed, the look was almost flawless on the mineral foundation. She then went over with the mineral foundation lightly over the other side then added the following blusher (also vegan) and then

A lip Pencil

and the following lipstick

plus two of the Inika Mineral eyeshadows

She then used a brunette eyebrow pencil

I then used my added my DiorShow Mascara and  the result was simplt stunning.

You can buy these products all on line.

Even though I wasnt en-femme I didnt want to take it all off so slipped out of the beaty therapist with my make up all on then went home to luxuriate in my new look

I have sensitive skin, and have to be careful about what I use on it. Do any of you know if any of the above mentioned are good for sensitive skin? Also, do you have any recomendations? I use Neutrogena at the moment, but I would like to try some others.
