Ok ... so I've for some reason gotten myself a massive pimple attack that for the last 2 months has been getting so bad that the laser had to be postponed by 2 weeks and now the facial hair is back and am depressed as hell...

Nothing in the world probably upsets me like hair on my face - sadly it took sooo long for the hair to grow to a place where its visible am affraid if I shave it the girls at the clinic would not be able to see it :(  and then the next session would just get postponed again.  :'(

So I can't really do anything untill the acne/pimples go away. Strangely I've never had it this bad and all of it is on the right side of my face.  :-\ Although it could be due to the really bad problems I have been having with digesting my food lately.

So untill then even andro mode would be next to impossible - so its going to be 2 weeks of pure boy mode - which is just plain annoying.
Any idea if  Clindamycin Phosphate & Nicotamide gel would also work?
Have been suggested Azithromycin and a cream with framycetin sulphate and dexamethasone acetate.

Any ideas what can be used safely without messing with the laser treatment?

I start to break out if my blankies/pillow cases aren't regularly washed. Are you keeping those clean? I also tend to squeeze pimples when they show up - BUT - I've heard that this may not be good for your skin (though I've never had any issue with it myself). So I guess I can't really suggest that =/

Are you eating lots of oily food? Especially oils based on animal product? When I go on pizza-sprees, sometime's I'll break out as well. Also, did you speak to your clinic? Maybe they have some suggestions.

Most acne treatments that work focus on the following:
1) controlling bacterial infection
a) non-irritating soap and water wash two or three times daily, clean towel to dry
b) topical or oral antibiotics that work well with skin eruptions
2) drying the affected area
a) non-irritating soap and water wash two or three times daily, clean towel to dry
b) washing with a soap substitute: cleanser containing salicylic acid or other drying agent
c) non-prescription benzoyl peroxide or other drying cream
d) prescription tretinoin cream/retin A
3) reducing irritation
a) keeping hair or wig clean and off of face
b) keeping bedding clean and using only hypoallergenic detergent to wash linens
c) no makeup, or hypoallergenic makeup only
d) eliminating diet items that cause breakouts (especially food intolerance)

Good luck!

Thanks you sooo much! :) will keep this in mind...

well I kinda lost my appetite since I was about to have a facefull of meat that I've been craving for the last few weeks. ::)

strangely while I was concentrating on eating healthy nothing happened - but lately since I had stopped HRT last year and just let go of my diet its never been the same.

Guess its back to veggies for me ::)

♥hugs♥
