How very different we are, yet we are one

Each day I am amazed at the many difference in each of us and yet we bond so well here.
When I sign in and see all the new members that join every day I am just floored.
When I see all the different genres of music we all post, and the poetry and jokes and games...the requests for help and support, the sharing of stories and experiences, the genuine caring expressed and felt....there is something for everyone here and it's just really awesome that so many so different can daily become one.

Your comments remind me of my denomination's logo. "That they may all be one..." John 17:21. I don't mean to sound jaded about the United Church of Christ but Susan's Place often lives out that particular scripture better than my denomination. I am proud to be a member of both Susan's Place and the UCC.

BTW are there any other UCCers out there?

You see, everyone is growing and learning at their own speed. Seems to me we have a lot of things figured out and we have a good head on our shoulders. Just by being you, you are teaching so many others. People believe in evolution but they act as if it has stopped. We are still evolving. Right now it is spirituality . People want a better life. We are just working out the kinks. I will let you believe and live as you want and you let me have that same right.

I know that many of you would be lifelong friends if we lived close by!  Yes, there is a unique feeling here. One of friendliness and respect for others. It is a wonderful thing indeed.
