How long non-inversion take to heal and after how long after non-inversion can you begin sexual intercourse. If from day 1 you need to start dilating with dilator then why not use a partner itself instead? Good idea or not?

Um a little thing called infection. Also a cock is not a good dilator, they are not hard enough.

And right after surgery when you have a crotch full of stitches, the last thing you will be thinking about is having a dick in there.

I did not have an inversion, but I was 3 months post-op when I first has intercourse. But do whatever your surgeon recommends.

I vote bad idea.

Not sure what you mean by non inversion.  I am 5 months post op after after one step inversion technique surgery and as ready as I will ever be.

No I had a non-inversion SRS which used a skin graft to line the vagina (with the graft being mostly made up of scrotal skin - Suporn technique).

Suporn's description of his technique sounds a lot like Dr. Brassard, and he uses the word inversion. I don't get the difference.

1. Dilators are firm and hard. A penis isn't like that...all the time
2. Dilators are meant to stay in and be kept in for 30 minutes (depending on your doc's routine). A penis goes in and out
3. Dilators are designed from keeping the vagina from collapsing and does its job delicately. A penis thrusting in and out would not be very productive in the beginnings of the healing process
4. Semen +stitches = possible bad infection

The first time I had sex after op was about 3 months after surgery...and that hurt. I could not imagine a week or two weeks after. No way.

With that said, I know a girl who had sex with a random thai guy 10 days after her surgery..but honestly....after I had mine done, I think she was pulling my leg.

If you still want to have sex just continue with anal. My bf and I did that until I felt ready for vaginal sex. Meh...I still like anal over vaginal to this day. Not to get all dirty or anything, but my orgasms are much more intense with anal sex vs vaginal. Don't get me wrong, vaginal sex is the bees knees but I'll never stop anal lol

non inversion involves the use of the scrotal skin vs the inverted penis skin inside out. A colovaginoplasty is used when the patient have very little penile skin and scrotal skin to make the necessary vagina.

Please! Tell me more! I am not doubting Brassard's surgical prowess, however, if there is a benefit to going to Thailand please let me know!

Brassard is excellent. If you have him as a SRS surgeon, then be blessed that you have him. I know many girls who would give anything to afford him. If you have the ability to go to him, I would do it.

1. He's local. If you have complications you do not need to book a $3,376 dollar trip to have your doctor to fix anything (current rate from Canada to Thailand as of 10/16/2012). You can just drive back.

2. Dr. Brassard is a helluva doctor. This guy's medical rating according to other customers and his colleagues ranks him 4.6 out of 5.0 (according to ratemds.com). Other similar medical ratings has him with just as high of a ranking. He is a helluva doctor and I am not just saying that. I would have loved to have him as my doctor.

3. His labiaplasty is out of this world. Trust me..I saw the results. His was just as good as Suporn's.

4. Brassard's depth and sensitivity is just as good as Suporn's.

5. I find it "interesting" that people say "I was thinking about going to Brassard but I went to Suporn and I am glad I did."  What? Did you originally went to Brassard...had a horrible experience and then went in a time machine and tried out Suporn? How do you know Brassard would have been a bad experience if you never went through it?

Don't let a random poster scare you from this doctor. I promise you, you have a wonderful doctor.

Like I said, I have nothing against Suporn. He's a wonderful doctor. But scaring a girl who also picked another great doctor because she is making the wrong decision is just wrong. If Brassard was bad, I can see people doing it. But this is just crazy.

I like Suporn too...but to make Brassard seem like a second rate doctor is just craziness. Sorry. It's just absolutely ludicrous.

Odd that I mention Thailand and everyone assumes, wrongly, that it's Suporn (I went with Chet).

I just don't think that Brassard cares about his work and results as much as the top Thai surgeons do. And the whole package to Thailand is cheaper than Brassard. ...and it's Thailand! Yes, the cost for 'free' touch-ups is higher, but I could just get Brassard to do that (and pay, obviously).

I also prefer the concepts behind the non-inversion technique. Some things about the inversion technique have me worried (this is relevant to *me*, and based on considerations that may not be present for other people). And it's not a depth issue...being lesbian, that's not a huge deal. There's not much difference in my life between 4 or 6"+

I used to be really worried about the possibility of not only ending up with a useless vagina but a broken anus, as well. (Got that from a Norman Mailer book, "Harlot's Ghost", there was this post-op South American call-girl in it who was only able to give handjobs afterwards. :shudder: Good book, otherwise, though, nothing to do with harlots, it's all about the CIA.)

If it were as easy as it is for ON residents as it is for QC residents, I might go with Brassard without much hesitation. But since it's not, I've decided to go the pay route...and if I'm going to do that, on balance of my considerations, I've gone with Chet. I don't fault anyone who goes with someone else, particularly Brassard, though. If I were in your shoes, I'd be happily going with Brassard.
