this is why we should all be honest about our trans status. i believe it was very wrong for her wait until after they were married :/

Honesty has nothing to do with murder. I can see the guy saying, hey, I want out of this marriage. You didn't tell me this. But murder as a response? And 24 years? Let him rot in there forever!

Horrible story.  But yeah, she should have told him long before they were married - though it maybe warranted a divorce, but never violence or murder.

I'm sure Karma will deal with him.  He's got 24 years to experience being the victim.

I don't want to sound insensitive about this tragedy.

This is why I firmly support people telling their lovers before they become lovers.

The thing is, everyone assumes that he murdered her because he found out she was trans - whereas it's reasonable to assume he did it because he's a nutcase, and could have had any stupid reason for doing so.

well..the article did say he killed her because he discovered she was trans

killing period makes you a nutcase but there is usually a motive for a nutcase to exercise their nutcase action.

Sure, I imagine that's what he'd say whether it was true or not. No way of ever knowing what his motive was.

Well every situation is different, partly right, I dated my Fiancé, we where lovers and he didn't know, but I certainly tolded him when we got engaged, when he put that engagement ring on my finger it was time to disclosed.
She should have tolded him, she looks very pretty in that picture, he may or may not have excepted her, I think because she kept it from him that made him angry, its very sad, no excuse for murder.
If your going thru hell, just keep going.
