So that's what I've been up to lately. My roommate says I should go to the DMV just to complete the unholy trifecta. XD
I was summoned for jury duty in my old name, and I spoke to the courthouse and explained I'd had a name change. They said no problem just announce your new name when your old name is called. I got there and saw the hundred and fifty other potential jurors and then explained the staff that I would defy the law and just walk out and go home if they didn't call me by my current name. Luckily they agreed.
The dentistry I'm super happy to have access to but it isn't exactly going well. I'm pretty sure I'm passing okay at least though, and I don't have dental records in my old name because I never had dental insurance, so I won't be outed that way. The dentist might figure it out but it's not really that big of a deal if he's cool about it.
