Hello everyone,
I had my SRS three weeks ago. I did stop hormones for about two weeks after my surgery. I'm still on feminizing progress and I realize that I lost my (tiny) breast. I see that some endos advice to just stop anti androgens and continue with the same estrogen dosage and other claim to get the lowest dosage of estrogens (including give up anti andogens).
My endo just said to start slow again on estrogens (only), have a blood work and will see....but I'm disappointed that my breast got almost flat....

You don't say how long you had been on HRT before SRS...

Also AGE and of course your genetic predisposition will all come into it.

I expect you to be a lot younger. At 66, I was 2 years on HRT before SRS and had 38A breast size.

As for continuing anti-androgens...
I did continue for a VERY short while at 1/4 tabs of SPIRO, more for my blood-pressure really. In my case it did NOTHING for me, so I discontinued it.

As for E...
I'm now on 'upper normal' menopause-level, and if I take more I feel like getting vasomotor symptoms, bad sleep, night sweats, irritability etc.

It is the same actually as if one would be off E, if one takes too much for what our system is OK with.

No Endo will EVER be able to tell you the EXACT amounts, as every person reacts ever so differently. In the end - you will have to figure it out by yourself - BUT it sure helps to have someone (Endo) to interpret your blood test results.

If your E is between 200 - 400 pmol/l you ought to be fine.

Lastly have your SHBG tested also, as this often tends to go up with oral E, binding too much free T, creating low energy and low libido in its wake.

Thank you for your reply. I was on HRT for three years. I'm 32 years old. For the first two years I was on anti-andorogens on small dosage of E and did not gain much breast tissue. We decided to increase the E dosage and included progesterone around six months before SRS and I did got satisfactory results. Now my breast tissue became as it was before upping E dosage and adding progesterone...
Blood work will tell....
