http://www.salina.com/news/story/repeal10-22-12Kansas Rep. Tim Huelskamp and others urged roughly 200 people to ramp up their efforts and vote down Salina's equality ordinance.
In a Monday night "Awaken Salina" rally to repeal the city's ordinance giving protection from discrimination to people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered, speakers said it was time to take a stand or watch religious liberties erode.
"The threat to justice here is a threat to justice everywhere," a hoarse Huelskamp said to the audience in a meeting room on the second floor of the Salina Bicentennial Center.
