So, I was sitting at me desk, bouncing around the internet. I was sitting with my legs crosses in a more ladylike manner, trying to practice and get used to sitting like that. You know crossing your legs knee over knee instead of ankle on top of knee. I have a pair of very muscular thighs and I was just trying to get my muscles used to sitting like that so it will become more natural and less like I am pulling a muscle all the time. Well, after sitting like that for an extended period of time my leg fell asleep. As a kid I used to kind of like when something would fall asleep. That whole sensation of that limb not really being there was odd and cool at the same time. Not to mention that tingling sensation when the blood starts to flow back in...that will wake you up! Anyway, I stood up to try and walk around to get feeling back and my leg wanted no part of it. I took a few steps and then hyperextended my right knee. Great googly moogly that sucked. I did not hurt it bad, but it sure did smart for a week or so.
So, has anyone else hurt themselves in a similar way while trying to practice a body movement or mannerism?
Please share your story so I do not feel like such a goofball.
