Seems like I'm still losing hair on my temples and vertex and not sure what to do... I've started with rogaine foam again and gonna get a prescription on finasteride. But I'm afraid that the damage has already been done. I used the later before but stopped due to financial issues but now that I'm back on track I feel that a wig is getting closer in sight...

I started seeing the obvious when I was 21, but it was only apparent on my left temple. But it's been getting worse now.

I've looked into a laser-cap as well and wonder if anyone has had any success (or in a combination of the ones mentioned above) ?

A wig is a little drastic if all you have are corner loss. You'll pass much better with your own hair even with the temples gone than you will with a wig.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Perhaps, perhaps not. I have already come to the stage were I have to keep my hair a certain way on the vertex in order to hide what's becoming more and more obvious. I'm gonna get Avodart next week from my endo. I have already come to that point were I just wanna shave it all off, because it get's really messy with rogaine foam (i.e making it more obvious so I can only apply it before bedtime and then either taking a shower before bed or in the morning). Because the liquid one gives me an never-ending itch.

I know that I can fix the temples later on but the vertex is even worse. I don't have that much hair anymore to compensate two(three) areas on my head. So I'm not really sure what to do anymore. My current regime is rogaine foam 5%, Alpecin Double Effect Shampoo, and Avodart starting next week. I'm gonna give this a year or so before deciding how I'll live for the rest of my life.

can i ask what hrt you are on as the usuall cause of the hair loss is testosterone and the job of hrt is to stop the testosterone. im guessing that a dht blocker is not part of hrt they just prescribe a testosterone reducer so therefore a dht blocker can be sometimes needed as well

Androcur and Estradurin. But, I've had low T values throughout my life so I assume DHT is the enemy here. But like I said, gonna met my endo next week so I'll ask about my blood tests and Avodart.
