Cute Ida

Hello. This might seem like an odd question but I need to find out if anyone else has had this issue. I'm male to female and I started HRT just over a month ago. Since about week three on hormones my ability to do my feminine voice has decreased.

Before hormones I could easily do my female voice but starting at about week three its been increasingly harder to maintain my female voice. I had practiced almost a year before getting on hormones. I have to practice even more now than I did before to do my voice.

It could just be irritation from dry mouth/dry throat from taking the hormones and the dryness of the weather where I live but I just wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them. Thanks.

It's probably the Spiro drying you out. IDK if that effected me at first, but after 14 months of HRT I can still use my female voice 100%

Your body will get used to the Spiro over time and any dryness or minor hoarseness in your voice will probably fade.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

It probably is the spiro, at first it did this to me but over time my body adjusted. Also get a humidifier for your room you sleep in. I'm a mouth breather when I sleep and it the air is dry, it's hell on my throat. I got a nice one at walgreens for $30ish
