While at the restaurant I noticed two guys checking out I think they were both gay, leaving at the door while one sang,
" ♪ ♫  Do do. Do do. Dude looks like a lady"
"Like it like it like it like it ♪ ♪"
And rushed out the door. They didn't look my way but I was the only person around to merit that comment. . I didn't know how to take that first. I felt complemented initially and then well maybe not so I don't know.
I'm glad my wife didn't hear it. She would have been torqued.
Strange how I'm always eager to be noticed and then when I am it doesn't feel like I hoped it would. :-\

It's easy to say as others, it's the bottom line really. You can either let yourself be rules by jerks or accept that kids sometimes talk when they have nothing to say.

Is there a song you could sing back about being a jerk?

Only if you want to appear to be one. The sensible, mature, intelegent. and may I say, safer thing to do is, walk away.

Rather like the toddler who won't stop screeming, or the teenager who looks tough or threatening.

Each of these people are looking, in their own ways, for their own validations. They see those who seem to have found their own direction and look for their own.

Just ignore and walk away.
