Hello again...

I have posted briefly in the past using this as a support system in order to move forward with transitioning however as I got to the point of obtaining a letter for HRT I found myself getting scared.  At that point I was in my last few terms of school and seeing a wonderful lady.  I thought that I could make it work and ran back into the closet.  Inevitably I couldn't make it work.  I did graduate but after a few disastrous relationships, being on thin ice with friends and family, and navigating the job market I have realized that I need to do this.  Not just to be happy, but to me me, have fulfilling relationships, and a successful career.  I am a 29yo MtF and live in the wonderful city of Portland, OR.  I really have nothing else to lose.  This time I'm gonna make it!

Hi Caitlin and welcome back aboard.
There's nothing wrong with trying to make a go of things, it's the  only way to find out that it didn't work.  Let's face it life would be a lot easier not transitioning if I could have stuck with it. 55 years of trying and eventually the penny dropped.  This is better.  Not easy all the time, but better.

I am so glad to still see you around the site Janet!  You are always so encouraging and somewhat of a role model.
