Online gender tests are a bit of fun but they should be taken with a pinch of salt. There is no substitute for assessment by a qualified professional, IMHO. That having been said, every single online test I've taken has agreed with those qualified professionals' opinions. ;)

I ought to point out that the S.A.G.E. in particular takes your physical appearance and birth sex into account, and it can trigger dysphoria if the results say that you look like your birth sex. My results say that my appearance is 'Feminine', even whilst acknowledging I've taken steps to present as male. Ugh - what a terrible word to choose!!!!! Some MtFs are described as looking 'Masculine', which could obviously trigger similar dysphoria. :(

It analyses my socialisation & thought processes as masculine... but because it describes my appearance as 'Feminine' (due to my face shape) it calls me Androgynous, which I find frustrating. Then they put the bit about me being born female in bold letters, just to make sure I don't miss that little fact. But then it later goes on to correctly identify me as FtM in transition, with major conflicts about my gender identity.

So whilst these tests can be fun... the main reason why people tend to do them is because they already know they have questions about their gender identity.

I have taken one of them designed for either gender and one designed, clearly by the questions, designed for mtf.

I personally think they are all BS.

They are based on gender stereotypes!!!!''

I have come to the conclusion that one does not need some poorly validated test to help reinforce what gender you feel you are. Your gender can be whatever you say it is. There are" feminine" males and "masculine" females - both cis and transgendered. You do not have to put yourself in a box based on stereotypes.

Ahh "Gender tests" Yes I'm familiar with those,

I'm reminded of a story that Jean-paul Sartre the existentialist put in one of his books.

Sartre and the student.
A Young man barely 17 approaches Sartre one day and tells his dilemma, He's spanish and this is 1936 the civil war in spain has just broken out, The military backed by the catholic church has attempted a military coup in spain to overthrow the democratically elected government they are savagely massacring civilians,
The young man is troubled because he hates fascism and wants to fight in the resistance but also he's a devout Christian, He's struggling to work out the correct course of action.

Sartre Dryly replies "Choose"
The reasoning Sartre explains for his answer is that when you confide in others about your struggle, to an extent you've already picked the answer you want to hear.

If he'd gone to a catholic priest The priest would have told him to remain devout to god.
If he'd gone to a resistance member he would have told him to fight against fascism.
But instead he went to an existentialist who tells people to live there own lives. So his answer is "choose"

This is what happens with gender tests. From the moment you read the question you know the answer you want to get back, you already know what you want to hear in response.

this isn't a bad thing, I too was once pre-transition and I remember the nervous uncertainty about myself your looking for something to tell you what you are, so to this end whatever answer you give truthful or lie is merely a reaffirmation of what you KNOW to be true in your own heart and thus the right answer for you.

I do not know what is in my hart I am truly mixed up inside witch is way I look at the tests
Each time I take one I am on the the thin line of gender

I only did two of each because I may have two answers to the question or no answer at all
For example the first one test sexuality .i am a-saxual I do not find people atractive (yet) so
This is a unfere test so I do is is if I was bi and do the test twice giving the same answers but switching sexuality

I have a disability with letters and numbers so I witch answers there to eliminate my disability

Most people are. Pebbles tried to make that point.

So please, don't let it bother you. The only test you need is what you feel. Nothing wrong with being a bit confused about that.
