Hello, everyone. :)

My name's Chris (though that might change; for now, everybody just calls me CJ). I'm a 22-year-old college senior working on finding out who I am, and trying to get things in order as I near graduation. Namely, getting my legal name and gender marker changed, and figuring out the process to start hormonal transitioning. I have my eye on some informed consent clinics here, but I'm unsure as to how I should proceed.

I figure since this forum pops up so much during my Google searches, I may as well join and get to know some people better instead of just lurking on posts.

So...hello!

Hi Chris, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8727 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Hi CJ, love the name. My stepdad was named CJ, he always signed things Sea Jay. He was a great guy and I'm guessing you are, too. See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn

Wuzzup?

I was just wondering..is there a certain significance to your screenname?

When I saw it I thought of the old hardcore band from Boston.
It's a nickname of a nickname, actually. Some friends I have from University suddenly dropped the phonetic 'ay' in 'CJ', so it just came out as 'ceeg'. So I ran with it.

Hi Chris,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Interesting handle you have. However, unless you want the be branded, I'd be inclined to use it, only in cases of emergencies. Or we'll put an exclusion zone round Adelaide for your protection.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
