O k so I am a cosplayer; (someone who dresses up as anime/video games/movies, etc. characters)

I cosplay all males now; (female=VERY uncomfortable and hiding all day.)
I never have a problem with creating the; I'm not biologically a male yet, thing.

However my main cosplay is Sasuke uchiha, which requires open binding. I was wondering if there is a way to do a more natural looking thing to hide the breasticles, that won't get people confusing me with being a male character dressed as a female. I'll show some pictures here but I do take one side of the costume to hang to show a tattoo that goes with the cosplay.

***I am the one with the black hair(wig). White shirt thing hanging off on one side.***

I wanna be me, it's as simple as that.

There's two ways I know how, but they're pretty crummy. The first is tape. Pull your chest towards your armpit and tape it in place. Artisan tape works better than duct tape in my book. Do this to both sides, leaving the center of your chest exposed.  It's not a good idea. It will hurt to take the tape off. It will be hard to breathe. But there's not really much available for an open shirt. The other option is saying "Eff it" and just use double sided tape on your chest to hold the shirt closed.

Yeah currently I just fold my chest binder. I was using Ace but it was so uncomfortable and painful I was sent to the doctor at one point. I'm gonna try the tape you suggested. Though my breasticles are kinda big so it may not work. Might just have to wait till after FTM Top surgery to be comfortable.

My first thought was to try the new "nude" coloured underworks binders.  Depending on your skin tone and the tone of the binders it might look a lot less obvious than using what you are at the minute because it's not bright white.  They would probably cover up the tattoo though, so depends on how important that is to you.

I got something from ftm mall which is basically looks like a big ace bandage-- which would be a no no. Not sure re: this as it basically a big band of elasticy material with velcro. I can't wear it at all. But I guess they sell in many colors, not sure if you could get it neutral.
I wouldn't recommend wearing for too long though.

I guess it wont work for sasuke,
but I like this idea for certain cosplays.
