"Feminism and women's rights have always been about autonomy and what you want to do with your body. One of the things you should always be able to do is to self-determine who you are."

That is a comment from transgender activist Janet Mock in an inspiring article on the Telegraph site with the headline "My womanhood is valid."

Janet is challenging the "passing" term and, the article says, is passionate about "removing the stigma around people who may less neatly fit our expectations of what a man or woman should look like – whether or not they "pass"."
