Okay.....I'm cool with it.  Just like that.  Monday, I have my grs with Christine McGinn.  3 more days!  My only anxiety is getting everywhere on time, and that's "no problemo Bev", as Sara would say.
Now that I'm down to 3 days before surgery, it's occurred to me to coin the name:  "Genital Repurposing Surgery".

So, off to our daughter's for a lovely Thanksgiving dinner, then back home, sorting out and packing the things on Dr McGinn's "Bring These Things" list.  Makin' a list, checkin' it twice....*singing.....*
Oh yeah....gotta wrap the gifts from Amazon for everyone.  They're stacked up chin-high in the bedroom.
......then going back to the court house, then to the bureau of vital statistics, for the bc, then to social Security.......a few ends to tidy up.  Genital Repurposing Surgery.  I kinda like it.

It's nice, but it's not as nice as TYPING, or Turning Your Penis Into Natural Glory. Hugs, Devlyn

My long journey to having a totally congruent body and mind has finally finished in New Hope PA.  I'm 10 days post-surgery now, in a lovely Victorian room in the Fox And Hound Inn, a wonderful   B & B only six minutes from Dr McGinn's office.  Marcy, my ever present sweet, who has taken care of my every need, is snoozing quietly beside me as I write.  Yes....it's after midnight, and I should be asleep, but my sleep schedule is very confused from so much bed rest, required by Dr McGinn.  My surgery was early Monday morning, and was about 3 1/2 hrs.  duration.  The hospital staff was great, and knows what is expected in tg post-op care.  I overheard one of the nurses outside my room once talking about the tension on my compression leggings, making sure they were just right "Dr McGinn will really yell at you for not doing this right, or for forgetting it".  She has them well on task, though I don't envision her 'yelling', as she carries her authority with quiet confidence.  I've had quite a bit of swelling, which is now going down, and will go dramatically further down in the next few weeks.  I imagine that when we see her again in January, my new new female genitals will be quite nice looking.  Her followup care is amazing, and of course, no cost.  I've had my second followup today with her assistant Heather.  Heather is an amazing, well-educated assistant, and could not be more caring, gentle, and sweet.  She has also been blessed with one of the prettiest faces I've seen.  Between my 2 follow-ups, I called Dr McGinn's pager number about a concern (more swelling), and she saw me a couple hrs later.  She flew into the office from surgery wearing scrubs and a leather flight jacket.  I wondered if that was her navy flight jacket....maybe.  Anyway, she wanted to see me right away, or she "would worry about me all night".  Now, THAT kind of care is not something money can buy.  It comes from the heart, and she has a very large heart for her patients.  I am going to take advantage of the other follow-ups, at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.  I highly recommend this if your geographical or monetary situation makes this possible.
A couple bottom line things before I lay back and sleep some more.....I am very sensate, my clitoris is nicely hooded, my grafts are all healing well, and I am looking better every day.  I am pretty sure we will be going home on Saturday, and we're anxious to see our kids, kidlets, and doggies.  It's time to return to home and hearth.

Thanks *smile*

No, she doesn't 'make' you do genital electrolysis.  She zaps as many follicles as she finds, but makes no guarantees as hair grows in cycles.

Thanks. Huggs back
