Breast growth timeline?

I recently started spiro and estradiol the other week and I was wondering about the timeline different people experienced with breast growth and by how much?

If you could also note the average breast size for other women in your family too it would help give a better idea :)

The women in my family all have very full C's - DD's so I am hopeful! I'm in pretty great shape myself and already have 38A man boobs from the shape and dip of my chest despite not being overweight at all before I even started HRT

I know this is a common question but I was hoping for more specifics. The posts I searched through were mainly vague mentioning spurts and that growth leveled off after the first year. I'm trying to see a comparison of timelines between a smaller chested background and a fuller chested family background.

Thanks!

Generally the rule is one size under the women in our family.  However that is rare.  Most of the time we are luck to get to a large B, small C.

And it can take years to get there.  If you have sisters, just look how long it took them.

Because of genetics, YMMV.

Mine have been growing steadily all through HRT. Currently I'm at a 34B. Initially they grew fast, within the first 5 months. I got to a full A cup in that time. Then they stopped for about 3 months but I think that was due to my levels being off (high T low E). After that, they've picked up again and it seems that I'm gaining volume every month. About 3 months ago (1 year mark of HRT), my A cup bras were squishing my boobs out the sides, but they weren't quite filling a B cup all the way. Now I am a full B and my breasts look pretty good in a tight shirt even without a bra. They don't seem like they're going to stop any time soon either, as they're still kinda sore when I push on them.

It's been steady... not too fast not too slow since I started HRT except when my levels were off. My avatar was taken when I was at the 11.5 month mark, btw... now they pretty much look a little bigger even without a bra on. I think I was wearing a B cup bra in that photo too.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Well,

I have been on HRT, low dosage, for 3 months now and "something' is starting to show. People are starting to notice. My aerolae are getting bigger, my nipples are getting bigger, and there is like a hard ping pong sized lump, ball behind my nipples. It hurts most of the times, sometimes even when I go up the stairs a bit in a hurry, but the pain is not always the same: it goes up and down.

The first two months I noticed basically nothing, BTW.

I hope this helps.

Good luck,
Andrea

After 2 years, a more shapely sub-B, Tanner 4.  My female relatives are B's and C's.  They said that I'm lucky to have this size and some women have smaller.  That was flattering.  However the latest meds for my aching feet has breast enlargement as a side effect and the nipples are sore again.  Hope for a fuller B?  Even though I am satisfied of what I already got.  For a 60 year old, not bad!

Mine has sucked.  My first 3 months I had growth, everything got tender. Lump behind the aerolae. I was super excited. Then it just all stopped, tenderness disappeared no more hardness and they haven't changed since and my nipples have not changed one bit either, they do not look like female nipples.  So at 1 year and 6 months HRT I'm still sitting at somewhere between an AA and A with male nipples.

Extremely disappointed in my breast development. I so don't want a breast job but this is unacceptable.  >:(

It sounds as if growth is unpredictable. I'm still on a starting regimen of spiro and estradiol, and, after 3 1/2 months, I have pain, tenderness, and the same hard protuberance others have described--visible, but by no means conspicuous. I've had these developments since the second month. Other effects (softening of features and muscle atrophy) seem more advanced, but the glandular foundations for breast development may just take more time. I'm hopeful that either the natural course of hormones will continue the growth or my Dr. will up the dosage when I visit next week. Do increased dosages speed up growth or is that a common myth?

It takes GGs five years to grow their breasts. It will probably take you five years as well. As for dosages, after a certain level of hormones, all the oestrogen receptors are activated so adding more hormones has no effect as they have nothing to work on so they never get used. So your doctor may increase it depending on your blood tests but it will need the tests to tell.

Well I'm an example that the myth about -breast size being 1 cup smaller than family members- being just that, a myth. 1 year HRT and my boobs are already 2X the size of my older sister. She has always has very small breasts (AA?) and I'm larger than a 34A and not quite yet a full 34B and growing..

I started November 27, 2012 on the climara patch and I'm  on day 4, I started getting the super light itching and sensivity on my nipples and warm fuzzy feeling on my chest area., this is very unusual, but then again, I was on hrt in my mid 20's (ie.25-26 years old) for a year on IM shots(ie. I"m 44 years old now), I got some pretty good feminization, a tanner 3,  size 38 nearly b. On day tw, I felt very serene also and could taste the estrogen on my mouth. The doc took my blood tests and got baseline for my T E and other hormones. I'm a in between a tanner 2-3 at this time. Now I'm wondering, if my prior hormone use, I had dormant estrogenic development is being triggered and can it pick up close to where it left off?, hmmm. I feel like a guinea pig. Times during my mid 20's(ie.circa 1993-1994)were very different and alot more predijucial times. I'll see how this time comes around without stopping.

I am six weeks into hrt and have been experiencing very tender nipples and an ache for the last ten days. I was an AA before I started and am already seeing noticeable changes in my nipples and breast growth.

One month in, I have no breast growth but I definitely saw some changes to the nipples and the areola got very smooth.  I have intermittent "feeling" that something's going on there...but they're not really tender or sensitive...I'm just aware of them now.

Subconscious change has been interesting.  Although I don't feel any pain or tingling to the breast, the changes in the nipple/areola had me start raising my arm to protect my chest after about a week and a half.  I wonder if this is a natural hormonal reflex that just comes with the territory?

I hate all of you.

14 months of hormones and I am nearly completely flat chested, my A cup bra hovers above my chest. ; A;
