Hi well, 30YO MTF here.

I've been doing supervised HRT for more than a year, taking Androcur , Ciproterone (birth control pills,) and estradiol (the blue M&M like pill).

I'm undergoing breast implant surgery in about a month and my endo recommended I stop. Literally stop. HRT for a month, then restart after surgery. I feel this can be kinda drastic and would like to know a bit more on any girl who has had experience with surgery whilst under HRT or any experience with sudden stops on treatment.

Other than that, I finally had the guts to register at susan's! ;D so, well. Hope it becomes a longlasting relationship.

Many hugs and cheers, would appreciate -any- input. <3

As I understand it, the only problem is the estrogen is a clotting risk, and during and after surgery, the immobility + E can be dangerous. Before my SRS, they told me to go off two weeks prior. I went a week before only figuring the clotting factor would be out of my system by then, with no issues. I also recommend avoiding your E dose the night before longer plane flights for the same reason.
Blessings,

D

Welcome to our little family. Over 9051 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

I'm having BA on thursday, yeah in like 3 days! Anyway, My BA doctor didn't say anything about quitting E.
When I had FFS I had to go off of it for 2 weeks before and one week after. I got moody, my T came back and i lost a lot of the very little breast tissue I had!
