I have a small issue with my current binder. It gets me pretty flat but the neckline seems low and it's not as tight around the top so it always makes it look as if I have some cleavage coming out of the top even though I push everything down and to the side to try to flatten it out. I don't have that big of a chest, it's just that the top of the binder is more loose, it's a lot tighter in the middle and at the bottom.

Does anyone know if there any relatively inexpensive binders out there that can flatten my chest evenly?

It sounds like the seam is just a little loose on the top.  Do you have a sewing machine?
It might be worth it just to sew up the sides a little and make it more even.

If you just want a new one though they have an oriental company on Ebay called Tomboy that makes soft bind ones that I am told are fantastically comfortable.

I had to sew my husbands up. i just folded it in the middle like a flap over and that took the gap out of the front.

He always ware a t shirt over it but before i fixed it he always had the bump from the neck line.

He later switched to underworks and bought the A type.

@sushifruit, might be talking about these. I think you can find on ebay as well.
I've heard good things about these. They are inexpensive to try out. Watch out re: sizing.

I really like the tomboy brand that sushifruit and jay are talking about. They definitely run small though.

Yeah you need to be careful with Asian products. I think Asian sizing are actually different than European and American (which though numbered differently usually run the same way). I believe they are two sizes different (iow order two sizes up, so if you wear a small ordinarily, you get a large, but I don't know if this is true for everyone. I also think these might not be good for everybody (so if you run larger than a C they may not work so great).

@Tysillio, just warning those who are triggered by such stuff. Obviously not my fault. :)

Well I can't blame those companies for the wording since their products are made for lesbian community rather than trans community. I agree that they do run small, I was 35" chest and 120-125 lbs  before top surgery and needed XL-XXL depending on the exact brand and style.

I can affirm this being true with most Asian shops that have listings on public websites that you can order from. I shop much from them, being a small guy myself, and it's a relief to have clothing at least much more in my range however I see how it can be a slight problem for those who are bigger chested with a bigger ribcage. Though, good thing we have our American/European companies like Underworks etc. for the bigger dudes out there. :)

I ordered from Loveboat which is out of Taiwan. I am 5'1" and small structured so they did work for me. But I was ordering XL (kind of big actually but it suited my needs being sensitive to tactile stuff).
