Earrings/plugs and passing

Your thoughts? I dont think the plugs (earrings in general) help me pass. I used to wear jus 1 small diamond earring only 1 ear and it looked decent and i passed more. Im only at a 4g and cant decide whether to keep goin or take em out all together. Oh and i shaved all my hair off

I think you pass just fine! Buzzing your hair seems to have brought attention to your higher cheekbones, but other than that, you pass just fine in that picture.

You pass without question. A lot of trans and cis guys stretch their holes. I'm waiting till after surgery and going to a 0g (goal is 5/8). Personally, I think having regular sized holes and wearing little diamond studs in them would be seen as female way before stretched lobes would.

I think stretched lobes are fine; I see a lot of cismales with them. Just looking at that picture, I don't see how you wouldn't pass.

If you're not that sure if you want stretched lobes then I would stop where you're at with it. 2g is when you basically hit the point of no return with them and your holes would never go back to a standard hole.

I was just going to say you look like eminem. And you have a male hairline. I also think guys that have lighter hair (light brown to blonde) can have a "clean shaven" look and totally pass because they don't have a noticeable beard "shadow". As for the plugs, I see a lot of dudes rockin plugs these days so that wouldn't make me think twice about you either.

I think you past just fine even with the holes.  I have a friend who has them, too, and I would have never known he was Ft~ if he hadn't told me [assuming we had met in real life].

Personally, I don't quite care for them if they get too big.  Small ones are just fine, but when they get to the size of a dime then I think they need to stop. -shrug- But it's your style and you can do what you want.  They also can work all right with various different styles.  I've seen everything from punks to thugs with them so it's something that is versatile.

As for plugs, Ive seen them mainly as a male thing (however I see alot of teens nowadays who seem to rock the plug/heavily pierced look alot, both male and female). But I think, when people arent heavily pierced, as this can then just become quite androgynous in my opinion, but instead have just a single plug or tunnel, it can look good. Im probably biased though, as I have a tunnel:p
  Ive had mine at 5mm, since I was 16, and I wouldnt go bigger personally. I see some guys with bigger ones, that can look cool, but one of my mates had his at about 16mm, and now he doesnt wear it and his earlobe is saggy.

I see more plugs on guys than I do girls, and I tried stretching mine a while back but I managed to rip both of them out of my ears when I was taking off my motorcycle helmet and they both got bloody and angry so I took them out.  When I went to try and put something back in a few days later when they calmed down I realised that both the holes have healed up completely, which sucks in someways and is good in others.  I don't really want to get them re-pierced and have to wear regular earrings for a couple of months so I'll probably not ever stretch them again, but I don't know.

Are you wearing plugs or tunnels?  IMO plugs at smaller sizes can look like large earrings, which might be where you're having the issues.  Either go larger if you're comfortable with that, or try some tunnels.  If your ears are healed then it might be worth trying earskins, they are very clearly not earrings and make your holes look bigger than they normally do.

I usually wear tunnels but i dont have a pair in this size (5mm or 4g). Im debating on whether to size up or say screw it completely...I dont kno if i look good with em

I typically see more guys with plugs than girls, but that's just me.

I'd say keep going if you want to. And once you get to a certain size i think you'd pass even more. I rarely see girls with higher than 1/2 inch.

I've seen more guys wear plugs than girls. I personally think they're ugly but that's just me. But I don't know how you're not passing, you look 100% like a guy in that photo. I'm actually really jealous. I wish I could shave my hair that short and look like a guy. I'm assuming your voice is ruining it if you're not passing.

And yea my gf says my voice is in a weird stage rite now bc its always been deep for a girl but im 4mo on t and its like at a stage where its already dropped some but its higher bc its cracking and gonna drop again. Also my height/body type is a factor unfortunately (5'1 and like 108 or something) and cant gain much muscle jus a slim dude...body type like rob dyrdek

I like your style.  I think you look pretty cool, and that's not something I usually think about guys with buzz cuts.  Whatever is causing the passing problem, I very much doubt it's your appearance.  Maybe it's the voice?  I know how irritating it is when it cracks and sometimes, unpredictably, it goes to a really high feminine register.  I would guess that could be the source of the problem.
