I just bought my very first packer!  :o

Just a cheap preliminary one for experimenting by myself at home, but I actually did it! I didn't think I'd have the proverbial balls to do that yet!

Sorry, there's probably loads of posts like this all the time, but I'm feeling strangely proud of myself. I couldn't find a harness I could afford, so I'll be Blue Peter-ing it with some men's undies and my elite knitting skills. Once I try this out, I'll know if I want to save up for something more complex and functional.

Actually really excited! I'm planning on using at least a day next week to experiment with make-up and hair to see if I can get a feel for my inner masculine face, and try out the packer (and maybe some binding too) at the same time. There's no way I'll look convincing, but I need to try things out to know what I'm about.

I wish to add that I'm also utterly terrified.

That's great!

Lol people might think you're a trans girl though if they see a bulge :D

I think it's perfectly normal to feel scared/nervous over doing things like this for the first time, I know I was.  And then I looked in the mirror and just grinned.  It felt so right to see myself with a flat chest and everything.  Packing I'm a little more nervous about because people don't notice my chest much when it's not bound, so it doesn't make much difference when I'm binding, but someone did notice me packing once.  I only pack with my homemade packer/harness set up when I'm on my own or at night.

Good luck!

Well if you wear boxer briefs you can pretty much pack discretely, which is the only way I ever do it. No one will think I'm a transgal, but they don't think I am a transguy either. Oh well, later I guess.

Good luck DTS. I also am feeling some degree of pride and excitement as well as a anxiety, fear, apprehension, etc.

Congrats Bro.

Every step any of us take is a big one, and of course we get nervous. And one day you'll be walking down the street and thinking 'what was all that bother about?' ' I'm a guy and proud of it'

Lol, yeah, hence why I'm keeping this to just me in the flat by myself.

I think I'm too heavy-chested to get away with DIY binding, so I'll just have to use my imagination.

Everyone, thank you so much for being so supportive! You are all awesome!

Congrats :D! It's normal to get amped up about your first packer or binder. I know I was really psyched when I got my first packer in the mail, and imagine when I'm able to get my first binder I will be as excited.

I'm really low on cash and also new to this, so went for the cheapest option, just to try out.

I got a Mr Limpy from LoveHoney. It cost me just under £15. I got the large one, but am now rather worried that it may turn out too big to be sensible. I like to think of myself as a 'big guy', but there may be practical issues with packing something that size. Ah well, I suppose I'll find out when I try it.

I'm waiting on both, so I'm double anxious/excited, lol.

Congratz! :D I haven't still bought one myself, but I've been binding or using double sport bras full-time after the days back in last spring when I first tried binding. These things are so different for all of us, I guess... Packing gives a bit pride for me, too, but for me it doesn't seem obligatory like binding does.

And yeah, all of this makes me terrified sometimes, too. Inner feelings seem to vary between pride, scared, unsure, denial, happiness, calm... :P

*sage nod* Yup, getting all those all the time just now, hehe.

Binder arrived today. Still waiting on the packer, but it shouldn't be far behind (LoveHoney estimated 2-3 days, and it shipped on Monday). However, I'm now starting to worry that I might have gotten too ambitious and bought one that is going to look freakishly big (d'ya reckon I'm compensating for something? *guffaw*).

What, compensating? No way, never felt a need to do that ;D

Well, if it turns out to be too big, I'll never be short of an amusing doorstop!

Update!

My packer arrived. It is...comically huge. Himself & I took one look and burst out laughing. Not a good sign, lol.

Going to return it and swap for something a bit less...garish. This is what I get for not thinking about the difference between flaccid and hard penises.

Dummkopf.
