I know, I know, there's plenty of packer threads already on here. (I've been lurking them trying to see if my question has been answered.)

Anyways, here's my question:
For a first packer, one that will not be worn daily, is the MASHO packer good?

I don't want to deal with trying to avoid the boner look that the 3.5 inch limpy gives, but I sure don't want anything more than 4 or 4 and a half inches. From what I've seen, the MASHO looks pretty good, but I've been having trouble finding reviews of it. Do any of you have one/had one and could tell me what they're like?

I did a review on it a while back.
Masho (soft version)
Feel. 3 out of 5- it's only slightly softer than the mr. limpys. It's too soft in my opinion.
positioning 5 out of 5- it sits perfectly
size 4 out of 5- it seems a bit small to me, but that might just be because ive been used to the sailor.
quality- it only laster 2 or 3 months before the shaft tore off from the balls
overall 3 out of 5.

I haven't tried the firmer ones, but i'd suggest if you get one to get a firm or regular one because the soft one tore so easily.

I would reccomend it for your needs. The 4" sailor would also probably work for you.

Thanks! I'll definitely look into the Sailor too then :)

I would recommend ' hard ' firmness if you don't mind the color of it. (I read in other site that they are releasing white color next year.) I have a regular firmness and it is still soft. Hard firmness should be still soft enough and should last longer.

I'll keep that in mind, thanks :D
It's not like anyone is going to be seeing my packer anytime soon, so if the color is a little bit awkward, I don't really mind.

tm49soji: Are you comfortable posting pics of your regular Masho as compared to your skin tone?

I'm sorry but that is just too weird.

White does sound like an odd colour choice. I thought STPs were intended to look authentic. Having pink/white/etc ones just makes them seem like 'novelty items'.

Yeah, if they had a normal name for the colors, that'd be nice :/
Though, the Mr. Limpy does seem to be advertised more as a novelty item than a packer anyway, so I think it's okay for that one XD

They might be meaning "white" as in caucasian, not necessarily "white" as in #FFFFFF

Yeah, I got a Mr Limpy as my first packer, and the ad pic was a pair of guys hitting eachother with them...  :-\

If you read some of the reviews on these, you can see that many of the folks who use them are not trans. Perhaps some are genderqueer, but a lot of them sound like they enjoy them as part of something called "gender play". I think that some people buy them and put them on a desk or give them as gag gifts.

I am pretty sure the term "white" means sort of caucasian. I just thought the current terms were ice cream flavors (vanilla, caramel, chocolate). MASHO needs to get on the, uh, ball.

If you call them that it does seem like you are appealing to the toy market.

That makes me sad. I inadvertently got a comically huge one (call it my profound penis envy getting in the way of sense), so I need to swap it for something less vulgar. But I'm still stuck with the brand until I can afford something better.

I'm sure many of them would mean no offense (to transguys anyway). I saw a discussion online for Reel Magik prosthetics. This was in some random forum somewhere. Many people seemed to have no idea what it was even for. A few guessed that it might be for soldiers who lost their's in an accident (I'm sure a very few are sold for that purpose).

I would guess people buying these for other purposes would just lower the price of them, so I am not against it. Supply and demand and all that.

Too bad re: your giganticus penis. I got a 4.5 inch Mr. Limpy. I think it is huge (I have a RM basic packer, but it doesn't look that big.)

If there were a 4" Mr Limpy, I'd totally go for that one, but with only 3.5 and 4.5 (I've heard the 4.5 is closer to 5) I'd rather try something else first. From what I've seen and heard, that's a HUGE 4.5 inches XD

There's no 4.5 mr limpy, at least that they currently make.  They have 3.5 and 5. The 5 incher is actually longer than 5 inches also.
IMO: the RM basic packer is the best one out there. Perfect size. The balls are big but it hangs in a way that it feels really natural and not oversized. (at least with a harness, I don't know what it's like without one)

In case anyone wants a size comparison of all the packers I've had, since the advertized size isnt always accurate, here you go:
(shortest to longest shaft)
masho
3.5" limpy
RM basic packer
Sailor 4" (only bigger than the RM packer by like a millimeter, but it has more girth)
python silicone packer
5" limpy

On some sites I see the small Mr. Limpy said to be six inches, so I measured mine (which I bought as a small) and it's six inches.

That's really helpful, thanks! If I had the money, I'd totally go for the RM basic packer.
I've heard anywhere from 4.5-6 for the limpy, so I've avoided that one :/
What do you think of the sailor? Would you recommend it?

It depends on which site you look at as to the size of the Mr. Limpy.  Tentatively from looking at a few sites it goes.

Extra small: 3.5" - 4.5"
Small: 5.5" - 6"
Medium: 7" - 7.5"
Large: 8" - 8.5"
