I'm 20 years old and I am having my SRS operation on the 29th August this year at CHX.
I'm just looking for advice/tips on making this as smooth as possible e.g what to pack and what to expect. I'm still pretty nervous as I am terrified of hospitals.

Thankfully my partner will be coming with me and I do have two friends scheduled to visit a few days post op.

Is there anything else I can do or expect from Mr Thomas?

Thanks, Ronnie

a lil overkill but i use hibiscrub to wash my hands and dilators...just to make sure all bugs are nuked before dilation.
with the douche you may need some betadine...depend on surgeon but imo it does take care of any unpleasant odour which may develop down the road.
i always have sensitive skin but after the op it got a lot more sensitive. with hindsight i should have stick to non-perfumed shampoo and body wash. aloe vera gel and calamine proved useful for irritated skin.
hope this helps. good luck!
