Corrales, a gay man who performed as a female impersonator known as Dalila, was found severely beaten to death May 6, 2005, in the Colorado River just west of Joe Henry Park.

However, YCSO Capt. Eben Bratcher said the agency has fully followed up on every lead it ever received, but this has not yielded an arrest. The murder remains an open investigation "but a fairly cold case," according to Bratcher.
