Good evening, everyone!
An introduction would be in order would it not? I go by the name autumn on the internet. I'm a 25 year old trans-girl currently working part-time at a retail store whilst attending post-secondary - studying Fine arts with a minor in psychology. Interesting mixture, is it not?

I'm an aspiring artist, spending a great deal of time in my school's art studio working compositions for my portfolio. Also, you could say that I am a bit of a fantasy nerd as well as a B movie/cult film addict. I've memorized most of The Cabinet of Dr.Caligari and Dr.Jerkly & Mr.Hyde. Odd ball, I know.
English is my second language so if my wording is incorrect just call me out on it.
After sixteen years of suppressing myself, belittlement, social withdrawl, self-hatred and multiple trips to the hospital, I came out three years ago. It was very gradual at first - only telling my girlfriend at the time to telling my friends, and so on. Now, I am living 90% of my time as female. I still haven't mustered enough strength to present myself at work even though a few of my co-workers already know. I still feel as if I am not completely passable (I get a lot of rude stares and laughter thrown at my direction), it might have to do with my height (6 feet) though I try not to think about it and try to ignore their arrogance.
I've started hormones about three months ago, and an anti-androgen for a month. The only noticeable changes I've seen thus far are changes in my skin as well as a slight breast growth.
What I hope to gain from this forum is the ability to branch out to the trans-community here in the cyberworld.
I hope to have long and meaningful conversations with all of you in the near future.
(sorry if this seems a bit brief)
Cheers,
Autumn
