Well, my "due diligence" in evaluating surgeons for FFS is over. After seeing most of the well-know domestic surgeons, I met with Dr. Meltzer last week. I was extremely impressed in (almost) all respects, so much so that my therapist's letter has been submitted, deposit paid, and date secured - June 6. I wonder if it's an omen that that is D-Day! I about had a stroke when I saw the quote, but in this field I really do believe that you get what you pay for.........
