Exactly! I always feel for people in bad relationships. I've been in a number of them myself and it took a loooong time for me to be able to say, hey, I'm not desperate, and I don't need you, if you can't love me for me then you're out. It is definitely difficult when you love someone, those are the worst situations to get out of. I think I understand the reason why people stay in such abusive relationships, if you love someone it's so hard to admit their faults or admit why the relationship isn't working out...
...Either way, I hope your girl fully accepts you, metrosexual or not, she really shouldn't try to change you. Hopefully she won't any more!

Also, good luck on the brows, I personally think my body is mine to take care of, and my partner's is his. Perhaps you might want to think of things that way--or at least, tell her. I know I prefer to be a grizzly, hairy man whereas my fiancee prefers to keep much of his body hairless. To each his own, but if he was telling me to shave he'd have another thing coming.
