Hi everyone,

I joined this group recently and thought I should stop lurking. What a great, friendly, empowered group of people! This seems like a wonderfully helpful and inspirational place; I feel fortunate to have found it.

I'm a female-born androgyne. My fellow female-born androgyne partner and I have been together for 27 years and live in central Illinois.

I am fortunate to work in a t-shirt-and-blue-jeans sort of place where I can be myself. I was hired as a typesetter but we now outsource most of our typesetting, so I'm a grunt-level editor. We work on college-level textbooks and it was in a gender communications textbook (GenderSpeak by Ivy and Backlund) that I found the url to this site. Those authors knew where to send people!

Hi Sue,
Welcome to susan's and the androgyne section.

That looks like an interesting book from what see in the samples, and is something I am exploring for the next androgyne post, which you responded to in https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,12595.0.html. I may have to go check it out and see what additional tips might be there.

Glad to see that the site is getting out there in print and recommended.

I look forward to your posts and additional replies.
