Question:  I have been on Premarin for about two months, I have had quite a bit breast development, 38 "D" cup, but no tenderness, or senitivity, I can feel actual breast tissue not just fat, my question is this will my breast and nipples get sensitive?

Have you had the tissue prior to HRT? If so that's probably due to your own natural levels of estrogen, which can come due to obesity and other causes. Has your endo did a blood work up prior to the handing out of the prescription to see how much you need or if anti-androgens would have been more efficient initially?

Dear Jean,

One cup size per year is not uncommon.  Actually the breasts are mostly fat.

Mine hurt almost immediately and got more sensitive.  Others at this site did not have a big increase in sensitivity.

A 38D after 5 years is not that common.  Did you go from from a 36C to a 38D in two months?

Yes I was a 38 'C cup", I had a little breast tissue and a lot of fatty tissuse seen in my Mamogram done last year February, and my last mamogram April 15th this year showed a conciderable increase in breast tissure including milk duct and sacks and nipple supply system.  Besides taking Premarin, I have been taking Black coshes, milk thistle, dong qui, and caste tree berry supplements for a year, and using progestrone creme on my breast, I know that these don't seem to work for everyone but I have seemed to get a nice result.  My hips and tushy are starting to plump up some, I would like more, and my skin has become pretty soft, and my body hair has lighten some, also my hair on my head has gotten thicker and silky.

Jean,

You have done better than most on cup size.  The sensitivity varies on this forum.  Make sure your doctor monitors the combination of meds and photo estrogens.  Many times more is not faster/ better.

Jean,

This site is geared to helping one another.

My guess is you started prior to 21 and are very pleased with your accomplishments.

  Wendy hello, how are you sweety?

Well in a way I started before 21yrs of age, I injured my back and due to a medical treatment gone bad (overdosed on steroids(not anibalic(SP?) I was started with breast growth, but with my breast development, it allowed me to except the fact that I felt female inside.  So in turn I started on plant estrogen supplements on my own, until I contacted a doctor and started FRT.

Baby I am new to this fourm, so I am at a loss as to what your opening line meant?

Hugs and Kisses

Jean,

Here are a couple of things to help you:

1.  Read the rules for the site.
2.  Go to introductions and introduce yourself.
3.  Join the chat room if you just want to chat.
4.  Participate in the threads that are of interest to you.

By the way a lot of acronyms are used on this site and it sometimes makes it difficult to understand.

You can learn a lot about yourself if that is one of your objectives.  It has helped me.  Most people are rather nice.

Just a note... Breast sensitivity while on HRT is primarily caused and is a documented side effect of spiro not estro.

Thanks Steph.  I always wondered why so many people were sensitive and so many were not.

38D?  Two months?  OMG.......

And I thought 38B in 6 months was pretty good.

So when we say 38, is this a literal measurement around the chest, or the weird +5" rule thing (so it measures 33), or...?

The whole bra size thing still confuses me SO bad.

Still good results.

38B.
38=the length around the chest and across the nipples.

B= Cup size.

Thats funny because I've been on HRT now for about 3 months and I'm vegetarian/border-line-vegan so I consume tons of soy (in all its forms) and my breasts became HELLA sensitive when I started the estro!

Okay...I must admit I'm actually really annoyed right now that I'm on premarin and cannot wait till I can switch to something a lil' more ethical...I mean I dont even eat skittles because of the gelatin and here I am taking horse urine into my body..ugh!  Its what my endo ordered though...at least for the first three months...one more to go until I can switch off this & relieve my conscience!
