Hello out there,

How has everyone been?

I recently moved to a new state, Connecticut, and with that came a new Endo.  I'm been on T for 2 and a half years now and I've seen some great results.  Unfortunately my levels have been out of whack for awhile now.  My T levels are very high and so is my estrogen.  So clearly my excess testosterone is converting into estrogen.  My old Endo and I tried messing with the dose and how often I injected.  Nothing seemed to work.

The worst part about this is that I lost a lot of the muscle I gained when I first started T.  Sad.  So my new doctor suggested I tried Axiron which is a topical solution.  I need to apply it under my underarms daily.    It's a bit of pain as it takes after two hours to fully dry.  You can put your clothes on after 5 minutes but no getting wet or sweating until two hours later.  There is no burning feeling involved or anything.  It is smells a bit like alcohol while it's drying is my worst side effect and perhaps it's a bit messy and drips a bit down my side.  Besides that, peachy.

I don't especially want to bring my T levels down.  They are at teenage boy average right now.  Still it seems that's what I need to do to drop my E levels back to a normal male range.  Also I need to work out a bit more and get back some of that lean muscle I lost.

So yeah, is anyone experienced with topical solutions after being on T for awhile?  Or experienced with it as a starter?

I actually have to do a weekly low dose of T as we were to efficiant ...

Anyways,
I have used the axiron and I think it is a PITA to use. The stuff is runny, there is a learning curve to get the stuff on right and not spill it on the floor.

I would sugest Testim instead if you can get it.

(Oh hi Paul!, hugz and luv)

Hi, hi!  :D  I'm glad you are doing well, Cynthia

Axiron is very runny but it's what this new doctor wanted to try.  It's only for a month and then I'm getting labs once again to see if there are changes.  Testim is next on the list to try if this doesn't work out.

I've been stuck with a needle so many times I just casually watch the vial fill up these days.  More then one nurse has commented on how laid back I was as most people turn away.  That's life I guess.

I was looking on YouTube about Axiron b/c I was gonna go on it but my insurance didn't cover it. But what I saw on YouTube was a guy telling you how to put it on so it doesn't run. If you look up Axiron on YouTube you should find the video. I would post it but I'm not on my computer but my iPod and its hard to do that from my iPod.

Oh I'm always smexy.   :-*

The axiron is working out so far.  I'm anxious to see what my labs will show at the end of the month.
