Hehe Right let me explain.

A few years back I read an article about this extremely beautiful model in South America, heres the catch she was a pre-po t-girl.
Obviously this is actually something that happens, its not as rare as you think.

Now heres where my main point lies, the whole reason she realised who she was, was due to the fact one day she lost a bet to a friend and had to wear High-heels to a party.

Some how just those heels alone made her realise who she was.

So how many if any of you realised who you were though something so small.
Awww no my little kitten gif site is gone :( sad.

can't say something small like shoes caused me to transition. Sorry!

Well when I was younger I wore women's clothes occasionally , and then as an adult when i wore them they started to feel normal to me, and then started to feel fun to me. They felt a lot more natural to me than vs wearing traditional male clothing. I would say they have a small part in pushing me to transition, but there are so many reasons.

I only discovered wearing ladies heels not long ago and I like it.
I ordered a pair online and luckily they fit great and I have always had a narrow foot so a womens medium width is perfect .
Walking in them is a sexy feeling!

Took me a lot of piecing together before I got a glimmer. I'm a little obtuse that way.

And I haven't ever actually worn heals. I suppose I should try it. Can't wear them regularly. I already feel too tall.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Meh.  Think heels are over rated anyways I doubt I will ever find a need to wear them.

I would rather wear a pair of go go boots vs heels, at least they have support

Sometimes I get the idea that it would be fun to practice walking in heels.

Five minutes of walking like a clutz later, I take them off and vow, "Never again."

I have enough trouble walking in normal shoes - heels are just a whole new and painful way for me to embarrass myself. :)

As for what caused me to realize that I was trans... well, I can't really say. I don't have a huge number of memories from my childhood, or my life in general, so it looks like I just up and got the idea one day that I would love to be a girl. It took me five years to discover that it was possible outside the realm of magic, two years to tell my mom about it, and three more years to start doing something about it.

I'm only transitioning because of shoe envy.  I love high heeled boots!

A couple of months ago (in Kuwait) I was talking to a doctor about a foot injury I've been struggling with.  His suggestion? Wear high heels.  He was joking about the heels but not about the therapeutic benefits.  I've been wearing a pair of three inch heels for the past week or so and I'm actually feeling SO much better.  My foot is doing better too!   ;D

It's more common then you think, I know a few that just started crossdressing because they had this desire they couldn't explain and it became a slippery slope.

Some people build a very resilient male persona and it takes something to tip them into realising what they've been hiding from.

No one transitions BECAUSE they like wearing certain clothing, but it's usually just the tip of the iceberg and usually they realise that they are happier, calmer, etc.

I went through the "crossdresser" phase for a few years too, I especially loved high heels but I dare not wear them now except in the bedroom. I'm already self conscious about being 6" I don't need anymore height!

I have to admit that being taller in heels is pretty cool.  I used to be 5'9" and shrank to 5'8"... 3 inch heels actually makes a pretty big difference in perspective - hell, I'm almost 6' in heels.  :)

I would wear 3 inch platforms, that would make me 6'4" (maybe someday)

Wearing high heels definitely flips some sort of switch in my brain! I feel like I exude a much higher level of femininity somehow.

There's some science to it as well. This was posted yesterday by Discover Magazine: High Heels Give Women More Attractive Gait

"High heels require a slightly adjusted way of walking, one that involves shorter steps and more hip movement. Since these characteristics are specific to women, overemphasizing these traits would in essence increase one's femininity..."

After I read that, and saw that somebody spent a lot of money to get those results, I said aloud, "Any transwoman could have told you that!"

My my old english teacher once said Heels were invented by men so that women would be more appealing because they couldnt run away! Haha either way, they give the same effect
