Jenna Talackova, the transgendered contestant in last May's Miss Universe Canada pageant, is vying now for a different title: reality television star.

Talackova, 24, has teamed up with Toronto's Peacock Alley Entertainment to make a show about her life called Boy Meets Girl. The television production company is developing a pilot for Bell Media, according to Peacock Alley executive producer Carrie Mudd.

"I hope [it] will inspire people to look beyond the traditional definitions of beauty and gender," explains Talackova, a Vancouver resident, in an email. "The show will travel around the world with me as I build my career. I'm excited to be pursuing my dreams and am happy to share my triumphs (and challenges) along the way."
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde

I don't care much for reality TV shows but I might watch some of this if it goes to air.  It was the whole pageant debacle in the news early this year which finally cracked my severe repression of my feminine side and got me seriously seeking answers.  I've come a long way since then and I guess I have her to thank.  I certainly have no love for Mr. Trump though :P
