I'm cole. I'm 27, pre everything but hopefully starting t soon. I can pass already without the t but I'm wanting to hurry things along. I recently stopped cage fighting its just not worth it nemore. Probably going to get my emt license back. Im engaged to a awesome girl who completely backs me, and she has 2 kids from a previous marriage. My mom and dad are all about my lil bro so there wont be much support from them or anything else about them. I was posting here to see if anyone could help. The problem is I live in VA in a small redneck town. It sucks. So its hard for me to find therapists and doctorsin the area. A lot of guys have told me to try Sam Allen and do the over the phone stuff. If anyone has any info to help I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your help.

Hi Cole, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 9506 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hi Cole!  I am located in southern California, in a county midway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.  Suburban and rural.  You would think that I could find local gender therapists or support groups, but even here it is difficult.  I saw a regular therapist who had experience with gay and lesbian clients.  And got referred to a GLBT-friendly general practitioner for my first HRT prescriptions.

I know how it feel.  Look on the therapy forum and you will find posts about online therapists.  You can also use the Psychology Today therapist location tool at

Hi Cole,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Being on the other side of the 'pond' makes it hard for me to point you in the right direction. However I've two good ears for listening whenever you want to talk.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
