Hey all,
So i've been on E and Spiro for 3 weeks. I've done heaps of research and I've not been expecting any changes yet.

However,

I have noticed that the growth rate of my chest and leg hair has already slowed dramatically.I was shaving those areas almost every other day, every 3rd day at a push. Now I'm at just under once a week.

Has anyone else had this happen so quickly?

Fingers crossed it bodes well for the rest of my transition ;D

Welcome to Susan's Nikki

That progress sounds good as body hair growth is reduced by HRT. From what other say changes on E happen faster than you would expect. Breast growth should be already underway.
I'm not on HRT yet but have attacked my hair with laser and I have not had to shave it since the sessions 2 months ago. Hurts a bit though but worth it. ;D

How about tell us about yourself in the intro page when you get a chance.

We don't bite much except for Cindy so watch her. ;D

Enjoy posting and asking questions as well as joining in the fun.

Jen.
So long and thanks for all the fish

This happened to me quite quickly as well. I noticed smoother skin and body hair reduction within the first week.

I'm just 3 months in now and almost all my course hair is gone and my chest hair is almost completely gone except a couple small patches.
"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

So it works that quickly!?  Yay!  I am excited, I am 22 and I get my referral to the endo in 2 weeks.  I have soft, but dark hair growing on my tummy and some on my chest.
