I've had a few people close to me say how my nose is looking smaller?
I'm not sure? but they swear by it? Can hrt alter your face's feature's.
I know it reshapes it in time, making it rounder.. how about structure?

Thanks guys xoxo

It can make a lot of changes in your face. One thing I noticed was my eyes seemed to get bigger and I think my nose got a little thinner. It's just the facial fat redistributing itsself to more female or masculine places, depending on your transition of course.

You do realize that the term "shrinkage" refers to only one thing: Seinfeld-George-cold pool?

Should pry choose a different word when referring to other body parts.

HRT can and will change fat--usually by adding it, from what I've heard. It won't change bones that have already developed or cause bones to grow that have already sealed at the "bone lines" I forget the medical term for those lines. They're not joints though its something else. Maybe hem lines?.
Anyway, yeah so chances are its not the nose itself that's smaller but that the fat in surrounding areas, pry the cheeks or lips, has caused the nose to look smaller by comparison. Basically, something bigger elsewhere on your face is now drawing attention away from your nose.

Or possibly, the fat changes how the nose sits on the face. The nose would appear smaller because it is functionally smaller, but the same amount of "nose" will remain - just distributed in a different way.

I'm not sure if my nose has gotten smaller, or may be my facial fat has changed in a way that makes it look smaller/thinner. I know my pores have shrunk big time. I used to have HUGE pores. They were like "pits" all over my nose and cheeks.  About 12 months into HRT I noticed they started getting smaller. Now they are so small that I can't even see them. I wonder if this has anything to due with it?

Hem lines?  That's made my day - it's pretty close but it's made me smile - sutures are the term you're looking for if you're talking about bones fusing.  The other area where bone grows are growth plates.
