Post a unusual or strange occurrence that seems like a conundrum. The Next person tries to give the best answer, then posts another question.

I will start with:

Why are round pizzas in square boxes?

My guess... So you can stack and fold them easier... But here's one...

Why do hot dogs come 10 to a pack, and buns 8 to a pack?

... because at every party there are two ->-bleeped-<-s who try to squeeze two dogs into one bun.

Why do gas stations still have "self serve" signs when there are no full service stations anymore?

There's a sex joke in there somewhere.... :D And there are some gas stations with full service. A guy came up to my bike once and told me I couldn't get gas at that pump because if was full service and he didn't know how to fill a motorcycle

As far as conundrums... I'll think of one.

What the hell was that?!                 From every wound there is a scar,
Spaceball 1.                                     and every scar tells a story.
*gasp* They've gone to plaid!        A story that says,

This is probably New Jersey's fault. We still don't have legal self serve. The signs in other states remind us that no one is going to ever come to give us a fill-up, no matter how long we sit at the pump.

Because the ashes fly around first before falling.

Why is it called a tv set when you only get one?

When TVs are
manufactured, they leave the assembly lines as a gelatinous fluid.
They only become usable once they have set. The term "TV set" first
came about due to customer concern in the 1940s that they were buying
TVs that had not set properly yet.
