Well, I finally learned how to create MOVs with my Mac and I've uploaded my first YouTube vlog thing.

You are so adorable Connie! Loved it. How do you get the confidence to do these sort of things?

I don't really know how to answer that question. I'm not stealth, and I think part of that is the fact that I've got adult kids so there's a lot of history of me as having been a guy. I didn't want to relocate and try to start over new somewhere else, so I'm just living my life where I am. So, I'm out.

I guess it's that I felt like it was more stressful in the closet than out of it.

Connie,

Nice to see you and a few others from Susan's making videos. Good to see people live, mannerisms and personality, the real person. I did a lengthy intro and one other video on Youtube, maybe I talked too much or not so much what people were interested in without a lot of views, so they are not public anymore. There is another post for videos here encouraging some of us to make videos. After about 6 tries I got one done & may be posting a 4 min. video on Youtube to link (I don't have a female voice).

After having come out to my family and some friends, all supportive, having told the story and answering questions enough times you gain confidence to have the courage to record a video. I have never been nervous and just comfortable being me and you come across naturally too.

Congratulations!

Jamie

Thanks, Jamie.

Listening to my voice, I'm not sure how "female" it is compared to the voices of others I've heard. But I'm satisfied with it.

Ha!  You get two Jamies for the price of one.  ::)

That was lovely.  Bravo!
