There is a show on Fox called The Mob Doctor. It is basically about a doctor who is in with the mob.
On 01/05/2013 there was an episode called "Resurrection". In the episode an patient, girlfriend of a mobster, comes in because she is gravely ill. Dr. Grace Devlin, the lead in the show, find out this patient has prostrate cancer. She talks to the patient and the patient asks her not to tell her mob boyfriend. Dr Grace, as she is know, tells the boyfriend that they removed a mass fro the patient, but had to remove her 'uterus'. Later the boyfriend tells Grace that he already knows about his girlfriend.
All in all, not a bad episode. But they did have a woman playing the trans-girlfriend.
