This is weird for me, for a large part of my life, I have been Bi-Gendered, it wasn't until a few years ago that I preferred it when people called me a girl. (MTF), it wasn't until a few months ago that I associated myself as being who I was for all of those years. Transgendered.

Anyway, for the last few months I have been exploring my gender identity, and it has progressed. A lot. I started to slip in public and around my friends, but what perplexed me is that I am now incapable of peeing while standing up. Is this common? I have heard that the dysphoria evolves and becomes stronger as time goes on... but I found out about this in November...

Has anyone else experienced this? At least at this speed of progression...
What's the point of following the path society told you to follow if you're lost anyway? Take the unbeaten path.

Welcome to my runaway train... Was just less than three months ago that I finally came to realise that I was in fact TS, MTF. Now the dysphoria of my male self is driving me to the edge much quicker than I'd like. So yes, much stronger in recent times for me. About peeing, I never pee standing any more ( not that I preferred to before ).

There was another post around that suggested why dysphoria can get stronger as we progress. Sorry, I'm terrible with words. It was something along these lines... When we finally come to terms and accept who we are, all of the barriers we'd built surrounding our identity disappear. At that point, dysphoria gets to have its way with us, with nothing to protect us or to get in the way.

I can understand what you feel. It is just the same for me.

It is getting worse and worse each day. It drives me nuts, I cant even look in mirrors anymore except when I am at home and nobody can see me.

I have never been able to pee standing though, something is was bullied for :o.

The ability to pee while standing is really the only male thing I think I'll miss.  Purely for the sake of convenience.

Though I admit that I end up sitting more often than not these days - at least when I'm home.  Hygiene concerns keeps me standing in public - but I'm still in guy mode unfortunately.

I've had to deal with it too. I noticed that I wasn't always dressing up as nice or as often. It was making me depressed at times. I kind of had to fight my way out of that cloud and try again. My other problem was that shorts & t-shirts were much more practical at work and I never quite felt myself then. I felt I was slipping a bit. We use a ladder quite a lot and a skirt is a bit dangerous. Its nice to know I'm not alone with these thoughts. Thanks everyone for sharing  :)
Peace & Love, Bree  :)

Many who don't have that bit use a thing called, Stand to pee.

This is an example: http://www.stand2pee.com/
