Common belief is it's usually a cup or two smaller than your closest female relative but sometimes you can be the same or even larger. It all the luck of the draw.
"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

After nearly 2 years on hrt, mine are slightly bigger than my mums. I don't really think there's any way of knowing how big you're going to get. Generally they say the younger you start the better.

I think in American size I'm a 32 or a 34 B, mine haven't finished growing yet though. I'd say if you start now you'd get at least B's

It depends how much body fat you have and it isn't always a hard and fast rule. My mum and sister are about the same, size 16 to 18 with C to D cup, whereas I'm size 8 with A to B cup and a different body type. I started hormones at 19 and have been on them for six years, over which time I have fluctuated between A and B. Most people I know have more growth than me though, I don't have much because I don't put on any weight, I've been the same give or take five kilos for the last ten years.

I don't think there is much relationship at all.

My mom, three sisters and daughter are all an a/b whereas I'm a 34c.

We are all the same build with a bmi of 20-21.

One thing I do notice is that the softness is different to a female breast, mine are firmer and so hold their shape which makes mine look more like a b in front view even though they have more volume and stick out more when viewed from the side.

Most people I know, who I've seen in person, this can mainly be explained by looking at early breast development patterns in general. If you start late, you're going to (oversimplified version) start with the breasts of a 13-year-old on a body that's whatever age you are when they develop, and move on from there at a more or less normal pace (though HRT can sometimes make you look a bit younger in other ways, related to a feminized body and skin,  than you did under T). They will mature over time, for the same reasons (constant exposure to gravity) that any maturing woman's breasts change with age.

Though, unless you convince someone to risk altering your chemistry to simulate pregnancy and the changes that come with that (and I do wonder whether at some point they might consider that advisable, given some of what has been discussed relating to pregnancy, nursing and breast cancer risks) -- but I don't see much sign that it's something commonly done now, and doctors are cautious about taking on risks like that unless the patient is very persistent, or there is compelling reason to think it would be a good idea.

My wife's mother is a 32B, sister is 36C, and she's 42DDD (and still growing).

My mother is a 36C, my sister 40D, and I'm 38J.

Yeah, I'd say the luck of the draw. ;) Genetics are a hint, but there are throwbacks and surprises.
