Do you get the impression that spam is killing email?

Many companies for example, seem to reject email, ignore ordinary mail and only deal in Phone calls. I understand, from their point of view, they can say, pretty much whatever they wish and it's almost impossible to hold them to it.

Not sure. I never have any problems with spam myself. The in-built filters seem to be a very good job of making sure it doesn't reach the mailbox.

The problem I understand is, those filters tend to be only available from general providers such as Hotmail and similar.

Those using private servers, their own email adresses and such, don't seem to have this. My MP for example, used the House of Parliment server and email. He never acknowledges emails.

But that could be because he's a politician. :D

I'm very into email. There are people I email all the time, there are people I email to get together, and so on. I use facebook mainly to keep track of very trans acquaintances (and acquaintances from elsewhere, so you see for someone not quite out how that may work-- or not).

I get a lot (more than 20 a day)  of ads on email, but not too much spam.

I don't particularly like it but I mainly use it to keep in touch with old school friends and members of my family.

Anyway I went ahead and created a new one. :)
