I was out shopping, bought some clothes and a hair iron and a kindle - yes I broke down and went hi tech- and then I passed the place that  did my first eyebrow shaping, the woman who did it was there. She had been fantastic with me, at the time I was in male mode, grey hair, just started laser, Geex I must have looked a challenge, but she had been very caring and asked me lots of nice stuff about being TG and what did my life involve to become a woman FT.

So I saw her and the devil leapt up and said, 'go surprise her', so I did. I walked over and said Hi, she looked at me and said Hi, can I help you? Do you remember me? I asked. No, I'm sorry. I was a grey haired guy and you gave me my first eyebrow shaping about 2 years ago.

Oh my GOD!! I remember you, but you are totally different, Oh my God look at you.

She turned to her assistant and said, I'm going next door for a coffee, grabbed my arm and we sat and Talked and talked.

She was just as beautiful, and in total and complete shock.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

People's reactions are always so interesting, lol. But it's nice because it shows you just how far you have come, when you see people who haven't seen you in years.

Absolutely wonderful!! Thanks for sharing Cindy. Happy to hear it was a good day for you! :D

Positive shock factor is a wonderful, wonderful thing. I've only partly experienced it during the first couple of months in transition, but it's quite obviously one of the greatest parts about non-stealth interactions. This makes me look forward to the future a lot.

That pictoral made me laugh, too. Thank you :)
