Who Jesus Christ Is According To The Laws And Prophets

The apostle Paul preached "This Jesus" from the laws and prophets. Peter spake of who Jesus is from the laws and prophets. Stephen preached who Jesus is from the laws and prophets. All of the disciples and apostles preached and taught who Jesus is.

When Jesus appeared unto the disciples after his resurrection he opened the scriptures about himself from the laws and prophets.

There are many ministers here. Yet I notice one interesting thing. None go into the laws and prophets to show who Jesus Christ is.

It's easy to get a bumper sticker that says "My boss is a Jewish carpenter" and such. That only belittles the Lord of glory when one stops to think about who Jesus of Nazareth really is.

This one individual was so great and highly esteemed in the eyes of God Almighty that every word in the word of God speaks of him. He shared the glory of his Father and humbled himself to come to this world that he might be a faithful High Priest that was touched by our infirmities and know how we feel and have mercy on us to the uttermost.

I realize that this is a support site for transgender people. I also realize that because of such ministers use scripture to support those troubled with transgender issues. Still in all, as Christians our first duty is to worship the oe who died for our sins and share the greatness of his glory. After all, the seed that fell among thorns was choked by the cares of this life and the deceitfulness of riches. The virgin (betrothed unto the Lord) as brother Paul wrote cares for the things of the Lord.

My concern in this looking at the lives of transgender people are in the area of making a god before the Lord. Trials and tribulations can make us do that in unawares if we are not careful. Our focus is swayed to self rather than Jesus Christ.

As a cisgender person my focus could be swayed to health issues or day to day problems and even ministry making all a god before the Lord if I don't keep him first. Everything in my life (including family and friends and possessions) must come second. He must be Lord and Christ with all say in my life as I am but a purchased possession or servant. He rules me and not me ruling him.

The same thing can happen with transgender people. If being transgender becomes such an issue that it consumes all of their life it can become a god before the Lord.

With the above being said, shouldn't some of the ministers start posting about who Jesus Christ is to edify the saints of God suffering from GID?

Many say the old testament no longer applies. Some say God is hateful and Jesus is loving without ever seeing it was Jesus that appeared unto Abraham. He just didn't appear as Jesus because Jesus means savior. His hour to appear as the saving Lamb of atonement had not yet come. Therefore he appeared one time as Melchizedec to show Abraham he would be a High Priest under the new covenant.

Just wondering if any would post such things or if any even care? After all, the ministry is to teach saints of God who Jesus is among other things. Why he is so great that God Almighty prophesied of him from the beginning.

May God bless.

The reason I post this is because there is a very big difference in "knowing someone" and knowing "of" someone.

Many people may know of me. Some may say I am nice while others may say I am a heartless, arrogant hateful jerk. The opinions vary depending on what they may see and even their bias towards what they see or hear of me.

Some know me. They know my good times and bad. Trials and tribulations. Rejoicings and despair. Their opinion of me will all be the same for the most part. Those who love me will probably see little fault and those who hate me will try to find fault. Still in all, they know me and their opinion of me is pretty much the same in reference to me and what they understand of me by knowing me.

In like manner I know of transgender people nd I know transgender people. The ones I know of I can harm with careless words. The ones I know I can pretty much know what to say to and how to act around.

The same holds true of Jesus Christ.

If we know of him we can get the wrong impression and speak amiss of him. Believe him to be something he is not and even disrespect him.
If we know him however we know the greatness of his glory and why Jehovah, God Almighty loves and has exalted him so. We would never want to hurt nor shame him but reverence him in the highest regard.

May God bless.
