My hips aren't too wide anyways, I'm still being read as male even in my slim fitting jeans - though not 100% of the time.

Well can't argue with that then. I don't pass at all though I doubt it's the pants.

My hips usually aren't the problem when it comes to jeans. It's the butt. It's not gigantic, I think...but it's very feminine in that it stick outs, so I have trouble with jeans/pants fitting properly. I usually do go for a baggier look to camouflage the back end, but I would love to find a pair of pants that don't necessarily look like I'm drowning in them.

Im a lil dude waist prolly 28 give or take but i wear my jeans at my hips...for the longest time ive always worn 30s but since 6mo on t and fat redistribution im finding theyre almost 2 sizes too big (theres a good inch or 2 extra when pulled at hip/side)! I dont have $ to buy new jeans and wearin a belt makes em look really weird...suggestions?

Butts, belts...I solve these both with the same highly unsatisfying technique: the overly long sweatshirt or jacket.

If you're good at sewing, you can try taking in the outer seams.

Just make sure you have the proper needles on a sewing machine.

As embarrassing as it is to admit, my favorite pair of jeans is a Miley Cyrus brand. I got them two or three years back, they're just black, and I've lost quite a bit of weight since then... so they're the most ridiculously comfortable jeans in the world. I actually only have four pairs of jeans; three are gray, one black. I know two of the gray ones were actually bought from the men's section, but I'm not sure about the last.

Either way, I could probably stand some new pants. They're all very loose. My boyfriend has fun pantsing me when we're alone in the kitchen. ;-;
