I am a happily married man. Been masculine my whole life but always kept a side of myself hidden until about 2 years ago. Inside of me is a Lesbian. I mean part of me is female and she loves women. In private I have taken to wearing women's underwear and lingerie. My wife does not like it so I don't strut around in girl clothes at home. I have shaved most of my body hair off. I sleep in a night gown. I have been using phytoestrogens to feel more feminine and my whole body is responding physically and mentally. I am at a place where I need to stop with that because I cannot transition into a woman, nor do I want to. I will always be a man and I love women and love making love to my wife. But I fantasize we are lesbians sometimes when we make love. I think it has made me a better lover as I try hard to be sensitive to what makes my wife feel good. I like being a man but I also want to be a woman. I wish I could be both.

Hi Kay,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Welcome to the crossroads of life. Nice place to be, isn't it. Having come thus far, don't expect it to stop all too soon. Generally it doesn't.  Even low dose phytoestrogens will start a brain feminization process, which will alter your perceptions on life and self.

Stay in touch and let us know how you are coping.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Hi Kay and welcome!  Glad to have you here.   :)

I'm married too, so I feel where you are coming from.  It can be hard to balance things sometimes when you
love someone who doesn't really understand why you have these 'different' needs, but you can't just shove
everything into a closet and forget about it altogether, because if you do that voice inside you of your inner
girl just gets louder and louder until you can't think of anything else.

Hope you are able to find lots of help and support here at Susan's.  Hugs, Julia Erin
